There are only 18 chiropractors within CR whos credentials have been certified by Conare, the University of Costa Rica, and the board of directors of the Chiropractic Association of Costa Rica and are the only people authorized by the government of Costa Rica to practice within its borders. They’re the ONLY members of the new Colegio de Profesionales en Quiropractica de Costa Rica.

What I REALLY liked about is he spent WELL over 2 hours with me utilizing physio physical therapy methods and machines as well as chiropractic moves (MANY chiropractors here I've found mainly do the cracking and don't have extensive electric stimulation machines or other gizmos). He did a GREAT job on me! He usually spends at least 45 minutes with his patients - not just the crack by that many do. Note - He can get quite “friendly” with the girls sometimes so keep that in mind if you have "issues" along that line (though sad for you as he's REALLY REALLY GOOD!!). Not only is Rodrigo an AMAZING Massage Therapist but because he does this for the CR Soccer Teams, he also does PHYSICAL THERAPY and MANY CHIROPRACTIC TYPE OF MOVES (you can move bones MUCH easier after they have been manipulated/massaged!!). One client he worked on had her hip misplaced in child birth 17 years before and nothing had fixed it - till ONE session with Rodrigo!!
Rodrigo is BY FAR the BEST Massage Therapist I’ve EVER experienced!!! He is one of the Massage Therapist for the CR Soccer Federation (over 8 years) and he’s been doing professional massages/physical therapy for over 17 years and even taught massage at THE massage school in CR. He knows so much about the mechanics of body (inside and out) - both clinical and when he taps in intuitively - he gets to the right spots to get maximum relief/results (at least for me). A professionally trained massage therapist is important but someone that brings in a DEEP intuition is CRUCIAL to me as I’ve been receiving massages regularly for over 30 years and sadly, the most clinical/ detached/unintuitive/worst massages I’d ever received prior to connecting with Rodrigo (and one other gal that seems to have disappeared) have sadly been in CR. I want someone that taps into what my body is saying - not just what they’ve learned or is their usual routine! He’s mainly available on the weekends and sometimes on weeknights after 6:30pm or so plus he sometimes travels internationally with Selecion.

Eugene "GENE" McDonald (352-0661 / acutherapy0@hotmail.com) in Centro Escazu has a VERY unique machine that I've seen over and over to have AMAZING results!! It's called AuriculoTherapy - like acupuncture but without needles - an electric stim type gizmo that goes around the acupressure points inside your ears which then goes to various organs, etc. (Chinese medicine going back THOUSANDS of years!!).
I've seen MANY MANY other people have AMAZING RESULTS in just one or two visits in LOTS of other areas with AuriculoTherapy!!!
Though NOTHING is "manipulated" in your body, whatever he does/uses has had AWESOME results with MANY people I have known that have had Back Problems like numerous people that could barely walk/stand upright from HORRIFIC back problems and with SCIATICA - BEYOND AMAZING!!! I've laid on the table and crack-crack - when he hit a part of my ear. No say!!!!
I have PERSONALLY known MANY people that have had BIG SUCCESS with Auriculotherapy for things like NECK, SHOULDER, ELBOW and BACK (recently I had a guy at my place that could barely stand. We ALL must deal with our "stuff" that creates the "izm" that we ALL have and unfortunately AuriculoTherapy doesn't do that so therapy is REALLY important to do with it I think]), ANXIETY, INSOMNIA, FATIGUE, EPILEPSY, FLU-COLD, SINUSITIS, HEMORRHOIDS, TMJ, FACIAL PARALYSIS, APPETITE, VOMITING, ARTHRITIS, KIDNEY STONES, HEMIPLEGIA, ONE-SIDE PARALYSIS, CONSTIPATIONS, DIARRHEA (I know a pregnant gal that couldn't even hold down water and had horrible diarrhea and had amazing results immediately!!) and LOTS of other things++!!!! Some have even gone to him to get even better results than a Massage!!
Of COURSE I believe YOUR success depends on YOU believing it can help as with ANYTHING in life - your doubt/negativity can override even the most amazing technique!! NOTHING can work if you don't BELIEVE and LANGUAGE that it will!! (I've had people tell me they were "healers" and that tweeked me as I believe that Spirit/God can't even "heal me" if I'm not TRULY desiring to RECEIVE! This type of "belief" is what got me to name my retreat/workshop/holistic wellness space "The House of SELF Empowerment")
Your results/amount of time for healing can also take longer if the injury/illness has been with you for some time and/or is deep.
